The Show was named one of the top 5 “must-see” flowers shows in the world by the Los Angeles Times, along with the famed Chelsea Flower Show in the United Kingdom.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Santa Barbara International Orchid Show exists to bring the joy of orchids to everyone with its internationally recognized displays of orchids in all their exuberant beauty. In addition to educating the public about the astonishing variety of flowers found in the orchid family, the Show has provided culture demonstrations, sponsored orchid art and floral arrangements, and partnered with other non-profit organizations that support orchid conservation in the wild. As the leading event for orchid growers and gardeners, the Show supports many of the industry’s key professionals, making it a “must-do” event for participation.
