The largest and longest running Orchid Show remaining in the United States

The 2020 Show had been completely installed when, per the governor’s direction on community events over 250 people in size, the Show Board made the difficult decision to cancel before opening day to avoid the spread of COVID-19. The Show was at its most beautiful…and at the point of greatest expenditure. No visitors could attend the show; no tickets were sold at the door; all online ticket purchases were refunded.

Now the Show asks for help from our orchid friends as we move into an uncertain future. Please consider making a tax deductible donation in support of world of beauty that nourishes the hearts and minds of all of us.

As the Show evolves to face the new realities and challenges of a world changed by pandemic, it depends upon the financial support of fellow orchid lovers to raise seed money for upcoming shows. YOU can help! Donations large and small are urgently needed to help the Show create new traditions for the future!

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Santa Barbara International Orchid Show exists to bring the joy of orchids to everyone with its internationally recognized displays of orchids in all their exuberant beauty. In addition to educating the public about the astonishing variety of flowers found in the orchid family, the Show has provided culture demonstrations, sponsored orchid art and floral arrangements, and partnered with other non-profit organizations that support orchid conservation in the wild.
